Description
"What Remains of the Joy"
Pleasure Beach, Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA
The broken stump of a lamp post stands tilted in the wet sand at the abandoned amusement park known as Pleasure Beach. Located off the coast of Bridgeport in Long Island Sound, Pleasure Beach and a nearby cottage community were left to the elements after the bridge linking the peninsula to the mainland burned down in the mid-1990s.
